!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has the details of the new sedan coming late this year.
Sharing the same platform as the new GV80, it has the same engines, the 2.5 290 horse I4 standard while the 3.5 375 horse turbo V6 is optional.
8 speed auto
Rear or awd
Interior has a huge 14.5" display
I love it.

I wonder if it will sell?

I don’t even know where to buy one.

I don’ t see why it wouldn’ t. Their sales have been increasing every month. And if they don’ t, like the current G80, it’ll be a steal on the used market.

Im still not a fan of the pointy bottom on the grill, but everything else looks perfect

Me neither. This seems appropriate.

Other than us nerds, I’ve never heard anyone say, “Have you seen the new Genesis? What a doozie!”

Looks like another potential home run. You keep knocking them out of the park, and eventually they have to let you into the all star game.

I love that interior.
I still have trouble thinking o f Genesis as a separate brand though. Which... Yikes. There’s a Genesis dealership 500 ft down the street from my condo. I think it would have been a better move to choose a new name for an entirely new upmarket brand rather th an use the name of a car that was never particularly luxurious in the first place

I don’t like those wheels, but the gold highlight pattern is nice

I think the key is the GV80. That’s needed more than anything.

I think the key is getting their own separate dealerships, or at the very least their own building on the same property. I was just at my local Hyundai dealer last week for an oil change. And while nice, it’s still not a good look to me to have a Santa Fe, Sonata, Venue and Elantra on one side of the showroom and 2 loaded G70s, a G80 and a G90 on the other. It’s even worse out on the lot itself, with Genesis models tucked to one side while everything else is Hyundai and used models.

yep. really “killing it.”

I love the car but Genesis needs to really get their own dealerships.

Stinger Regenesis?

Don’t judge a B ook by its cover...

That looks really good!

That makes me sad. New SUV should help though.

to put a finer point on it, those are numbers for the entire Genesis brand. Lincoln sells as many MKZs as Genesis sells vehicles, and that one is on the chopping block.
Hyundai really seems too stubborn for their own good. They couldn’t even break 90k on the Sonata last year, spent a lot on an all-new Sonata for 2020, yet sales continue to decline.

Kinda makes me wish I needed a more practical car. I bet there are deals to be made on cars sitting on lots, plus their 10 year / 100k warranty.

The 3.5 turbo version is my next car after my next car

Killing it design wise. But I gotta give it to em for trying. They aren’t churning out crossovers. No matter how good they are selling.

I admire the effort, and it is an inoffensive design (I find the grille more weird than horrible). Taillights appear to be MB-derived, and I think the standing tablet look is already passe, but they are gaining ground fast.
